Why Recycle?

 

Recycling saves energy, helps reduce pollution, conserves natural resources, reduces the need for landfill and will probably save you money.

 

 

 

More than a third of Eastleigh's household rubbish is currently recycled. It's used to make a wide variety of new products from floor tiles to fleece jackets which is great for the economy and the environment.

Recycling helps Eastleigh by reducing the amount of waste that goes to landfill, cutting down on energy use and pollution and providing jobs. The cost of dealing with rubbish is rising steeply, so the more we recycle, the more we will save.
