Indicators
Sustainability indicators are a
way of monitoring the progress of sustainable development and
improved quality of life.
The Government collects a
range of information intended to assess quality of life known as
headline indicators under the three main areas of economic growth,
social progress and environmental protection, which are the core of
sustainable development.

What the Council Is
Doing

Partnership, the council will eventually be developing a set of
Local Sustainability Indicators.
