Eastleigh Borough Council Online GIS
Eastleigh Borough Council's Online Geographic Information
System (GIS) is an interactive mapping service that allows you to
view many of the map layers held by the Council.
The GIS will allow you to carry out address searches within the
Borough, move around the map, query map layers and print
maps.
Maps Available
There are a number of map layers currently available to view,
which are organised into categories. These
relate to things such as Planning, Transport including Parking
Restrictions and Administrative areas. There are
a number of links from the mapping layers to other web pages on the
Eastleigh Borough Council web site, providing more information.
Over time we aim to increase the number of map layers available, so
please check back for updates:

Local Plan Review Interactive Proposals Map
The
Local Plan Review will
remain valid until Spring 2009. It will eventually be
superseded by the documents listed in the Local Development
Scheme
The Council's Local Plan Proposals Map can be viewed using our
online mapping system. The Local Plan Map is
made up of 3 map categories which show designations and
policies.
You can choose to view map layers individually or all
together.
The categories have a pick list of
designations and policies which can be switched on or
off.
It is possible to find out more information
about each policy by using the 'get info' button in the mapping
system, this will display basic information about the policy
selected
and will also give you the option to view/note the relevant
section in the local plan document.
