Home-Start Eastleigh
is a local registered charity providing friendship, support and
practical help to families under stress, living in the borough of
Eastleigh and who have at least one child aged under five
years.
Support is offered by providing
trained volunteers, usually parents themselves, to visit families
weekly in the privacy of the family home to help relieve isolation,
boost family confidence and improve the quality of life.
Support is also offered in structured
group settings for those unable or unwilling to receive
home-visiting support and this is offered by trained members of
staff in Central Eastleigh.

and children affected by ASD. The branch can help in a number of
ways including a monthly parent support group, a family youth club
and, as a branch of the National Autistic Society, access to a
wealth of advice and information.
