Hampshire County Structure Plan
1996-2011(Review)
The Adopted Hampshire County
Structure Plan was published in March 2000. The
housing requirement was set at 80,290 dwellings plus 14,000 reserve
dwellings for the period 1996-2011 across the entire County,
including Portsmouth and Southampton.
The Structure Plan requires
Eastleigh Borough to make provision for an additional 6,700
dwellings in the period 2001 - 2011. This is to meet the
requirements of the Government's Regional Planning Guidance for the
South East,

.
