Eastleigh Lakeside Railway

daily during school holidays.
The country park has a miniature passenger railway.

The country park offers a wide variety of activities including forest trails, play areas, pond dipping, self-led children's trails and an orienteering course.
The visitor centre is open from April - September.

The Kingfisher Club at Itchen Valley Country Park

The Kingfisher Club is a Saturday morning club for 6-11 year old interested in nature. The club meets one Saturday per month from 10am-11.50am and costs £1.50 per child per session. Please ring 023 8046 6091 for registration forms and details of activities.

A visit to this working farm within the Country Park will transport you back to Victorian times.  A range of events take place throughout the year.
 

Marwell Zoological Park

Opening times: daily from 10am to 6pm (4pm in Winter).
Marwell has over 200 species of rare and wonderful animals including tigers, snow leopards, rhinos, meerkats, hippos and zebras.
In addition Marwell offers "Creature Close-up" sessions and has restaurants, a gift shop and adventure playgrounds.
 

Royal Victoria Country Park

The park grounds are open all year.
Vehicle access is available between 8am - 5pm (October to March)
and 8am - 9pm (April to September).
The park has three play areas, a miniature railway, trails and woodland walks and a cafe.
A variety of events are arranged throughout the year.

Baby Sensory

Award winning developmental activities for babies from birth to 13 months, range from baby singing to puppets, light shows, music and movement, bubbles, textures, bells, water play and lots more.  Each week is different, full of variety and great fun.  First session free.

Classes held in West End on Wednesdays and Chandlers Ford on Thursdays.

£5.50 per session payable termly.
