Chandler's Ford and Hiltingbury Character Areas

This document seeks to expand on the Second Deposit Local Plan Review policy 60.BE, by defining a number of areas in Chandler's Ford and Hiltingbury where the quality and distinctiveness of the local environment is such, that it deserves to be acknowledged when considering development proposals in those areas.

A blanket approach has not been adopted because it is accepted that there are parts of the local area where there already exists a diverse range of building styles and designs and where a more eclectic mix of development may be acceptable.
