Installation, alteration or extension of
a low or a extra low electrical Installation in
a dwelling or sourced from within a dwelling
Where the work relates solely to an
electrical installation the, following charges will
apply:
- £62.00 inc VAT if the applicant undertakes to provide on
completion an installation and commissioning test certificate
completed by a person competent in respect of the inspection and
testing of such installations as required by British Standard 7671,
or
- £300.00 inc VAT if the applicant wishes the Local Authority to
arrange a test of the completed installation
If the electrical works are in connection with other Building
Regulations related works for which a charge is payable, the
following will apply:
- No additional charge will be made in respect of electrical
works if the applicant undertakes to provide on completion an
installation and commissioning test certificate completed by a
person competent in respect of the inspection and testing of such
installations as required by British Standard 7671, or
- £238.00 inc VAT in addition to the charge for other works if
the applicant wishes the Local Authority to arrange a test of the
electrical installation on completion of works
