Details:	The Environmental Health Service investigates a wide range of complaints regarding pollution including accumulations on land, smoke from industrial sources and dwellings, odours, dust, effluvia and fumes (see also Environmental Sampling). The Service is also responsible for issuing authorisations to control airborne emissions from certain prescribed processes.
