Shopping Facilities

Introduction

Eastleigh has a compact bustling town centre with excellent shopping and easy parking in the Swan Centre and Multi-Story car park. There is a wide choice of shopping from well known high street multiples and smaller independent shops, offering a varied selection of goods, which rival many larger towns and cities.
Eastleigh has managed to retain a personal and friendly atmosphere which is in evidence at the traditional open-air markets every Thursday and Saturday where bargain hunters can browse among colourful stalls. Street entertainers in the Leigh Road precinct and the Swan Centre add to the colourful atmosphere. The award winning Swan Centre, opened in 1989, provides shopping in a covered setting as well as a place to relax with a snack and a drink .
