Tattooing
All businesses carrying out acupuncture, ear piercing,
electrolysis and tattooing must be registered. Routine inspections
are carried out to ensure they comply with the proper
standards.
THINK SAFE - Junior
Citizen

THINK SAFE was previously called Junior
Citizen. This annual event takes place county wide
and our event is hosted by Eastleigh Borough Council &
Test Valley Borough Council and supported by Hampshire Police,
Hampshire Fire and Rescue, Hampshire Ambulance, Rail
Track, Trading Standards, Animal Welfare, H M Coastguard and
Hampshire County Council.
The event is aimed children in year
6 (10 - 11 year olds) and teaches children how to behave safely in
potentially hazardous situations.
The usual programme for the day is
seven-eight scenarios which the children are encouraged to actively
participate in, and these
cover:-
- Fire safety - Hampshire Fire and
Rescue
- First Aid - Hampshire Ambulance
- Sea safety - H M
Coastguard
- Road safety - Hampshire County Council
- Counterfeit goods - Hampshire County Council Trading
Standards
- Stranger Danger - Hampshire Police
- Rail Track
- Animal Welfare

Gypsies and Travellers frequently
visit the Eastleigh area. This Service monitors, records and
reports on illegal encampments of Gypsies and Travellers.
