Twyford Road, Eastleigh

This development is being built by Barratt Homes in conjunction with Hyde Housing and Swaythling Housing Society. Hyde Housing have already completed 18 two bedroom flats for Low Cost Home Ownership.

Swaythling Housing Society will be providing a further 48 two bedroom flats and 3 one bedroom flats on a phased basis.

The units will be split between Shared Ownership, rent and Keyworker rent with the first phase completing late Spring 2008.

Nightingale Centre, Eastleigh

This development is being built by Bellway Homes in conjunction with Swaythling Housing Society. The first phase of 3 bedroom houses are due to complete in Summer 2008 and will be available for general needs rent. These properties will be advertised via Eastleigh Homechoice  in the usual way.

Timescales for phase 2 have yet to be agreed but the website will be updated with this information when known.

South Street, Eastleigh

The development of this Eastleigh site by Barratt and Bovis Homes in conjunction with Atlantic Housing Ltd has recently commenced. The proposed development will be carried out in phases over a number of years. The development is due to provide 149 affordable homes which will be a range of sizes and will be available for both rent and Shared Ownership. The first phase is due to complete during Summer 2008.

Dowds Farm, Hedge End

This site is being devloped by Bovis Homes and Taylor Woodrow . The proposed development will be carried out in phases over a number of years and will include a new school and a large and attractive parkland area.

Within the development of 765 homes, a proportion of affordable housing will be required which are being developed in conjunction with  Swaythling Housing Society . All the affordable houses/flats will be available on a phased basis and will be a range of sizes which will be available for both rent and shared ownership.

A number of affordable homes have already completed, with the next phase due in Summer 2008.

Nightingale School, Eastleigh

This development is being built by Bryant Homes in conjunction with Thames Valley Housing Association. 

The development is due to provide 10 affordable homes which will be available for both rent and shared ownership.  The first units are expected to be completed by early Autumn 2008.
