Car Park Charges

The charges quoted are valid as at 31st March 2008. Always check the car park notice boards for current rates.

 

P1 Swan Shopping Centre. 628 Spaces, Roof Top Parking
Up to 1 hour 70p, Up to 2 hours £1.50, Up to 3 hours £2.40, Up to 4 hours £3.20
4 Hours maximum  stay, No Permit Parking

 

P2 Wells Place, With effect from Monday 9th July 2007 this Car Park will be closed to allow the development of The Swan Centre Leisure Complex. It will re-open when the development is complete. Alternative Parking is available in either The Multi Storey Car Park or The Swan Centre Roof Top Car Park.

Pay and Display System

All Eastleigh Council Town Centre car parks operate on a pay and display system.  A ticket with sufficient time to cover your stay should be purchased and attached to the inside of the front windscreen. Tickets are not transferable. Disabled Blue Badge Holders may park free of charge.
Coins
All car park ticket machines accept 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins.  Use correct money.  Machines do not give change.
Overnight Parking
Parking is free between 6 p.m and 8 a.m in Town Centre car parks and between 4.30 p.m and 8.30 a.m in Southampton Road car park (P5).  No charge is made during Sundays and Bank holidays.  The Swan Centre Car Park is closed at night.
Disabled Persons Parking
Special attention has been given to the needs of disabled drivers. This Map  indicates the location of disabled bays in the Town Centre. (Please note charges may have changed since publication)
A shopmobility service is available from the Town Centre Office, Wells Place (next to McDonalds).
Penalty Charge Notices
All car parks are regularly patrolled.  If you fail to comply with the regulations as displayed on the notice boards, a Penalty Charge Notice will be issued.
Car Park Regulations require you to park in a marked bay.  Failure to do so will result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued.

In line with Figure 1 of the adopted parking standards, a detailed accessibility map pdf 360k (opens in a new window)has been produced for the Borough.  This provides zones of accessibility based on Public Transport Accessibility Levels (PTALs) which are used to determine the level of parking that is required.
