Community Safety
A partnership approach is taken when working to reduce crime and
disorder, anti-social behaviour, drugs and alcohol misuse and
anti-social behaviour that has an adverse impact upon the
environment within the Borough of Eastleigh. The
Eastleigh Community Safety Partnership has responsibility for
tackling such issues and is led by a Strategic Steering
Group. The Group comprises representatives of
the following agencies and organisations:

During the latter part of 2007 a
strategic assessment all aspects of Community Safety in the
Borough of Eastleigh was carried out. From this was developed a
Community Safety Partnership Plan for 2008 to 2011. This plan
will be refreshed annually by strategic assessments that will
ensure that issues of concern to the local community will be
addressed.
