Town Centre CGR

Overview

Eastleigh Borough Council is carrying out a Community Governance Review (CGR), as part of its commitment to giving residents greater ownership and control over the day-to-day activities and services delivered on your
behalf. These include the maintenance of open spaces and play areas, the
management of community buildings, allotments and cemeteries.

Why your views matter

We think that a reorganisation of local government in the next few years could see decision-making taken away from local areas, with the creation of much larger “unitary” councils covering a much wider area than Eastleigh Borough.

We’re looking for your views on whether a new town or parish council or councils should cover the currently ‘unparished’ area outlined on the map.
